This week, I felt super stressed out due to the number of projects I'm taking on outside of work (and derby life, for that matter). I am already breaking my New Years Resolution of not taking on new work outside of my set goals for the year. Damn. The problem is one of them is a contract job and all I could think of was buying new leather skates with the money that I'd earn from them. <3 Riedells.
JP has been gone for nearly 3 weeks and will be back in 1 more week (and a bit).
For Easter Weekend, we're going to Portland and we're going to watch a roller-derby game (Rat-city [seattle] vs. Rose city [portland]). Super excited. Plus Portland is one of the prettiest towns ever. JPs been to Portland twice already this year but still really wants to go so that makes me think he's got some really awesome places to check out when we go there. This time, NOT staying at the ACE hotel, the epitome of a no substance purely aesthetically expensive hotel. For the price you pay for one of their rooms, you could have a giant hotel room at a place with a pool. Fool me, once, ACE hotel.
